These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of extremek-9.com (the "Site") and the dog training, boarding, classes, service dog assessments, specialty training, lectures, and related services (the "Services") offered by Extreme K-9 ("Extreme K-9," "we," "us," or "our"). 1. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Interfere with or disrupt the Site or its servers
• Try to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful information through our forms
• Copy, scrape, or reuse Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission

2. Services and Separate Agreements

Information on the Site about our programs is for general information only and may change without notice. Enrollment in training, boarding, or other Services may require a separate written agreement, intake form, liability waiver, or boarding contract. If those documents conflict with these Terms, the separate agreement controls for that Service.

3. Client Responsibilities

When you use our Services, you agree to:

• Give us complete and accurate information about your dog, including health, vaccination, and bite or aggression history
• Keep your dog's vaccinations current and provide proof when asked
• Follow the training plan and instructions we give you
• Tell us promptly about any change in your dog's health or behavior

We may refuse or end Services for any dog we believe poses an unreasonable risk to people, other animals, or itself.

4. No Guarantee of Results

Dog behavior depends on many factors outside our control, including genetics, health, environment, and the owner's consistency after training. We will use professional care and skill, but we do not guarantee any specific result. Service dog assessments reflect our professional opinion on the day of assessment and are not a legal certification.

5. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Fees for Services are listed in your quote or service agreement. Payment is due as stated there. Deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled under the policy in your service agreement. If none is stated, please contact us before booking.

6. Veterinary Care and Emergencies

If your dog becomes ill or injured while in our care, you authorize us to seek veterinary care. We will try to reach you and your listed veterinarian first. You are responsible for all resulting veterinary costs.

7. Assumption of Risk

Working with dogs involves risks, including bites, scratches, falls, illness, and injury to people or animals. By using our Services or attending classes and lectures, you understand and accept these risks.

8. Photos and Media

We may take photos and videos of dogs in our care for training records, client updates, and marketing, as described in our Privacy Policy. Let us know in writing if you do not want your dog featured.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site and in our training materials, including text, logos, photos, videos, and lecture materials, belongs to Extreme K-9 or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create works from it without our written permission.

10. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites, such as Facebook and Instagram. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Content on the Site is not a substitute for advice from a veterinarian.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Extreme K-9 and its owners, employees, and trainers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service that gave rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Extreme K-9 and its owners, employees, and trainers from any claims, damages, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your dog's actions, your breach of these Terms, or inaccurate information you provided.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the Site or Services means you accept the changes.

16. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in full effect.
