Training

At Extreme K-9, we don't believe in one-size-fits-all training. Every dog is different, every family is different, and every training plan should be too. Whether you're starting with a puppy, wanting to build obedience, or working through more challenging behaviors, we'll help you build the skills, confidence, and connection to enjoy life together.

We believe that training isn’t just the time you set aside. It is in the every day choices you make and the consistency you offer.

Beginner Group Class

Our Beginner Group Class is a 5 week class designed to help you and your dog build a common language through clear communication and consistent training. Together, you'll develop reliable skills like loose leash walking, sit, down, and place while learning to work confidently around everyday distractions. More than anything, we'll teach you how to train your dog—because the progress you make between classes is where real transformation happens.

Intermediate Group Class

Our Intermediate Group Class is a 5 week class where consistency begins to take shape. Together, we'll refine the obedience we have built, build new skills, and increase your dog's ability to stay focused as expectations grow. Through clear communication and consistent practice, you'll continue building a relationship that's based on trust, teamwork, and reliability.

Advanced Group Class

Our Advanced Group Class is a 3 week class that takes the skills you've built and challenges you and your dog to work together through greater distractions, increased expectations, and real-world scenarios. You'll continue strengthening communication, teamwork, and reliability while gaining the confidence to enjoy more experiences together.

Because the goal isn't just a dog who listens in class. The goal is a dog who understands, trusts, and chooses to work with you wherever life takes you.

Private Lessons

Every dog and every owner has a different journey. Private lessons provide customized training focused on your specific goals, whether you're starting from the beginning, addressing challenges, or building new skills.

We'll help you understand why your dog does what they do, teach you how to communicate clearly, and give you the tools to continue making progress long after your lesson ends.

Board and Train

Sometimes dogs need more time, structure, and consistency than a weekly lesson can provide. Our Board & Train program gives your dog focused training tailored to their individual goals. Whether you're building obedience, improving manners, or helping your dog find more balance and confidence.

The most important part? Training doesn't end when your dog comes home. Through mandatory private lessons and follow-up support, we'll teach you how to communicate clearly, maintain their skills, and continue building on the progress made.

We don't believe in creating dogs who only behave for their trainer. We believe in creating dogs and owners who understand each other.

Boarding

Leaving your dog behind shouldn't mean worrying about how they are being cared for. At Extreme K-9, we provide a calm, structured boarding experience where your dog is treated like one of our own.

What's Included:

Our indoor/outdoor kennel runs provide a comfortable space for your dog to relax, with climate-controlled indoor areas and access to the outdoors when appropriate for their individual needs. Each day includes morning and evening walks, multiple potty breaks, and consistent routines designed to help your dog feel safe and comfortable.

Because we believe good manners don't take a vacation. During their stay, we maintain the communication and expectations you have worked hard to build—from polite leash walking to calm greetings and respectful door manners.

What Should I bring?

We require food for the duration of their stay and any oral medications they are on. Past that, it’s up to you! Beds, special bowls, teddies, chew bones. Anything you would like them to have, feel free to bring it. Our kennel runs include a karanda bed and we have basic food and water bowls.

  • Obstacle course adventures

I was referred to Extreme K9 by my vet tech. My pup and I have received training and boarding which have been positive experiences. However, the biggest reason I am grateful and happy to promote this facility is when I sustained a serious injury, and was unable to care for my pup, Extreme K9 stepped up. They came, picked her up, and kept her for about 2 months. I received updates, pictures, and regular communication. The staff provided excellent care while I recuperated. I am beyond happy to have found Extreme K9 and will continue to use their services. I highly recommend Extreme K9!
